Are you a young person looking to kickstart a career in agribusiness? The TAGDev 2.0 Programme, in partnership with the University of Cape Coast and run by the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), is offering an incredible opportunity for out-of-school youth in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem, Cape Coast, Ekumfi, and Awutu Senya East districts. This programme provides free training and the chance for selected applicants to receive grants to start their own agribusiness ventures.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is open to out-of-school youth in the four beneficiary districts. To register, you’ll need to provide the following information:

Personal Information

  • Full Name (First, Middle, and Surname)

  • Sex (Male/Female)

  • Nationality

  • Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)

  • Marital Status (Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed)

  • ID Type (Ghana Card, Voter ID) and ID Number

  • District (Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem, Cape Coast, Ekumfi, Awutu Senya East)

  • Community

  • Type of Location (Rural, Peri-Urban, Urban)

  • GPS Address

  • Email Address

  • Mobile Number

  • Name and Number of a Contact Person

  • Population Segment (Differently-Abled Person/PLWD, Refugee/Displaced Person, Able-Bodied)

  • Type of Different Ability (if applicable)

Education and Experience

  • Highest Level of Education (Tertiary, SHS/Vocational/Technical, JHS, Primary, No Education)

  • Previous Participation in Mastercard Foundation-funded Training (Yes/No)

  • Experience in Agribusiness (Yes/No)

Training Preferences

  • Preferred Agribusiness Value Chain for Training:

    • Cassava

    • Sweet Potato

    • Pineapple

    • Tomato

    • Other Vegetables (specify)
