You’ll be expected to travel between clients’ homes and assist them with daily or weekly tasks — all while building meaningful and lasting relationships.

Working Hours

  • Shifts typically run between 06:00 / 07:00 and 21:30 / 22:30

  • Morning and evening runs (around 7–8 hours long)

  • 7 days a week operation – flexible scheduling available

  • Many staff work mornings and/or evenings with shared weekend cover

 Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care in line with clients’ individual care plans

  • Promote clients’ independence, dignity, and well-being

  • Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Record and report any changes in clients’ health or circumstances

  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and friendly attitude at all times

  • Uphold the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and company policies


 Requirements

To be considered for the role, applicants must:

  • Be enthusiastic, compassionate, and reliable

  • Be happy working in a domiciliary (homecare) setting

  • Own a car and hold a full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Have a good understanding of the CQC Care Certificate

  • Pass a full DBS/CRB background check

  • Be committed to providing respectful, high-quality care to every client


Desirable Attributes

  • Previous experience in domiciliary or social care (not essential — full training provided)

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families

  • Excellent communication and time-management skills

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
